The Director will guide and manage all Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the company. The major areas directed are Hiring and Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Training. The Director will partner with management to communicate HR policies, procedures, programs and laws; determine and advise best employee relations practices; conduct investigations; with Risk Manager, monitor OSHA-required data and health and safety programs. Director will lead the development of benefits orientations and other benefits training; ensure compliance with all existing local/state/federal governmental reporting requirements; and with company Attorney, prepare information requested for compliance with laws. Director will coordinate implementation of services, policies, and programs upon executive approval and assist and advise company managers about HR related issues. Director will report to the Vice President and serve on the senior management team. Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Human Resources staff members. General knowledge of employment laws and practices. Must have prior experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other HR related programs.
